BAPP are looking for a new Chair of  Trustees

Are you looking for an opportunity to support a local charity & make a difference?

Bath Area Play Project are a small voluntary organisation established in 1979 to support the child’s right to play and facilitate a range of play opportunities for children of all ages and abilities. We provide a range of services directly supporting children’s right to play, support for disabled children and families across the Bath area.

We are currently recruiting for a new Chair of Trustees here at Bath Area Play Project. There would be an introductory period of standing as a trustee for the charity which would then lead into the role of Chair in December/January.

You do not need previous experience as a Chair as the introductory period will support you to see how the Trustee board runs and to work alongside the current Chair during that time to gain a good understanding of the Charity, its current work and direction.

We are looking for someone who will show commitment to the organisation, provide strategic vision, a willingness to devote the necessary time and effort to the role, have good, independent judgement, is able to think creatively, works well as part of a team and is willing to represent BAPP and uphold our inclusive ethos. This is a voluntary role, and we can provide financial support for childcare and travel costs where meetings are in person.
