What you'll do
As one of our Sewer Renovation Team Leaders, you will:
- Carry out repairs on sewer assets to make sure they meet quality and customer service standards
- Undertake repairs and civil reinstatements on sewer pipes, rising mains and manhole chambers
- Work in a variety of locations, including customers' properties and gardens, highways and farmers' fields
- Coach, mentor and guide operatives within your team and larger teams on a day-to-day basis
- Work outdoors, dealing with different challenges every day and providing a vital service to our customers
- Work across Avonmouth and the surrounding areas, with the main depot being based in Chippenham.
In addition to your salary, you will benefit from a monthly bonus on the completion of your probationary period. You will also have access to a company vehicle.
What you'll need
You will:
- Have a positive can-do attitude, a great work ethic and be dedicated to doing a good job
- Be well-organised and customer-focused, as well as being a great team player
- Have experience working in the construction industry (beneficial)have experience operating all plant machinery, such as an excavator or dumper
- hold a valid UK driving licence and have proven towing experience.
