Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Cleeve Road, Evesham

Job Type: Permanent

Reporting into: Logistics Shift Manager

Salary: £15.32 per hour

Hours: Red shift Sunday-Tuesday (Alternate Wednesdays) 09:00am – 21:00pm or Blue shift Thursday – Sunday (alternate Wednesday) 09:00am – 21:00pm.

Main purpose of the role:

The main purpose of a Despatch Operative/Picker is to accurately select and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the customer orders are fulfilled efficiently. Pickers have a crucial role in supply chain by ensure the orders are prepared correctly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Able to pick cases of product from one pallet and building it on to another.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and responsibilities
• Person is flexible and able to work in different area’s of despatch completing different roles.
• Can work with technology i.e. tablet or pick scanner and understand how to operate them.
• Ensure you are cleaning as you go to ensure you are working in a safe area.
• Complete temperature checks to ensure product is with in temperature tolerance
• Report any issues to the shift manger
• Able to complete stocktakes at the end of shift

• Able to speak and understand English
• Numerical skills
• Timely and punctually
• Able to use a tablet or a pick scanner
• Flexible – has the ability to complete different task upon request
• Able to work in a team environment or on your own
• Experienced in operating MHE (has a licence)
• Able to work in cold environment
