Working pattern: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year

Truro and Penwith College is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Administrator to join our Learning Support and Inclusive Practice Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in supporting learners, including those with SEND and EHCPs, while working within a friendly and professional team environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the first point of contact for students, staff, parents/carers, external agencies, and members of the public.
  • Manage incoming enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Process and maintain confidential student records, including medical and learning support information.
  • Support EHCP administration and review processes.
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, correspondence, and team resources.
  • Maintain accurate records and utilise college systems for data management.
  • Assist with ordering, invoices, and general office administration.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Experience in an administrative support role
  • Strong IT skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and record-keeping systems
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A high level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach and genuine enthusiasm for supporting learners
  • The ability to work sensitively with students with additional needs and disabilities
