This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team responsible for managing and operating the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) at our Winfrith site.
You’ll be at the centre of how we maintain essential equipment, support safe operations, and keep our data accurate and reliable.
What will you be doing
The role involves managing and developing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to meet user requirements while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all data.
- You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the database, ensuring all work orders and information meet statutory and company standards.
- This includes scheduling safety-related equipment in line with regulatory parameters,
- managing software updates, resolving system queries
- making authorised changes to planned maintenance schedules and asset records.
- You will also support wider data quality and reporting activities by assisting with audits, performing data checks, contributing to Mainsaver/MS Power BI reporting.
- Coordinate job scheduling within the maintenance system.
- Liaising with users to manage issues, provide guidance, and maintain smooth system operation to ensure the CMMS continues to support safe and compliant site operations.
In addition, you will also provide general administration support to the Maintenance Manager and the wider Maintenance Team, assisting with procurement and ordering, filing, and archiving in line with retention schedules, the taking and creating of minutes and notes for maintenance related meetings, audits, and interventions.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or IT and have practical user experience with CMMS systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to interpret engineering data, terminology, and technical information.
- You will be capable of maintaining accurate, auditable filing systems and working effectively across a wide range of stakeholders.
- In addition, knowledge of SQL, HTML, Infomaker or web-based reporting software would be advantageous.
