Beloved is a Christian charity based in central Bristol, supporting women involved in the indoor sex industry. This role will be walking alongside women to address any physical, emotional, economic and spiritual needs they may identify.
Role Profile and Person Specification
Reporting to: Frontline Delivery Manager
Duration: 3-4 days a week for a fixed term of 1 year to cover the postholder’s maternity leave
Commencing: 1 June 2026 or as soon after as possible
Base Location: The Beloved Office, Central Bristol
Salary: £26,227.50 WTE, £13.45 hourly rate.

Key Tasks
- To support the achievement of Beloved’s aims, objectives and mission.
- Ability to articulate the Christian faith clearly and compassionately.
- Developing ongoing relationships with women we meet on our outreach or through referrals.
- Taking part and leading the outreach visits into the massage parlours.
- Identifying where Beloved could develop areas of support to meet women’s needs, working with volunteer teams, external partners and agencies.
- Helping women with various support needs, including benefits, housing, employment, health care etc.
- Participating in training and to also contribute to the training of staff, volunteers and partner organisations when required.
- Support with the undertaking of a pilot Netreach Project (online outreach) and subsequent casework that may evolve from this.
- Managing and keeping up-to-date and appropriate records, maintaining confidentiality according to Beloved’s policies and procedures, including the GDPR.
- Liaising with other agencies and local networks.
- Taking part in supervision and debriefing, on an ongoing basis
- As part of a team, building a good rapport with team members, and offering peer support.
- Fully participating in staff prayer and worship times.
- Responding to the needs of individuals (many tasks and responsibilities are unpredictable and varied). It is therefore expected that all staff will work in a flexible manner when required, undertaking tasks that have not specifically been covered in their job description.

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE (or equivalent) grade A-C Maths and English.
Desirable
- Degree in a relevant subject. Relevant social work/social prescribing qualification / has attended a social work or social prescribing course.
Experience/Knowledge
Essential
- Ability to build trust with people from various backgrounds in a non-judgmental manner.
- Experience of working with vulnerable groups.
- Experience in supporting individuals and working with multiple supporting agencies.
Desirable
- Experience in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and referral pathways.
- Competence in using GSuite.
Skills/Abilities
