About the Role
As an Early Years Teacher, you will deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment while delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred learning in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress and development
Support children's communication, language, literacy, and numeracy skills
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all children, including those with SEND and EAL
Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives
Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all children
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Passion for delivering creative, play-based learning experiences
Commitment to supporting every child's development and wellbeing
A caring, patient, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning
Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
