Barton Hill E-ACT Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our committed team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in achieving their full potential, working closely with teachers to deliver outstanding learning experiences and provide targeted support that helps every child thrive.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about education, committed to inclusion and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families. You will play a key role in supporting learning, promoting positive behaviour and helping to create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where all pupils can succeed.

Key responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning activities within the classroom.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to raise attainment.
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing.
• Help create an inclusive learning environment for all learners.
• Contribute to the wider life of the academy

Pay range: SCP5-7 - £20416.30 - 21070.65 - FTE: £26,427.00 - £27,274.00 , 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year - Fixed term until 31/08/2027

Qualifications and Skills:

• Good standard of education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
• Positive, enthusiastic and reliable approach
