We are currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef to join our team in Berkeley, GL13 9PA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate culinary professional seeking a great work-life balance with a Monday to Thursday working pattern. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality food and service while working within a supportive and professional environment.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality meals to a consistently high standard
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen operation
• Ensuring all food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed at all times
• Assisting with menu preparation and food production to meet customer expectations
• Monitoring stock levels, supporting ordering processes and reducing food waste
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience
• Supporting the implementation of company standards and procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as a Chef, Cook or in a similar catering role
• A genuine passion for food and hospitality
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, allergen awareness and health & safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A positive, proactive and team-focused attitude
• Level 2 Food Safety qualification is desirable
• Flexibility, reliability and a commitment to delivering exceptional standards
