Your new companyYou will be working for a well-established university in Bournemouth, supporting the maintenance and upkeep of campus buildings and student accommodation. This is a great opportunity to join a professional estates team within a busy and varied environment.Your new roleAs a Painter & Decorator, you will be carrying out a range of decorating duties across university buildings, ensuring a high standard of finish at all times.Key responsibilities include:

• Internal painting and decorating works
• Surface preparation, filling and sanding
• Emulsion, gloss and woodwork painting
• Minor making-good works
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working within occupied and unoccupied university facilities

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Own tools preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Basic DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Availability to start ASAP
