We are looking for caring, resilient and positive individuals to join our growing team in Bournemouth and help young people build confidence, independence and brighter futures.

Young Person Support Worker

Full Time, Part Time & Flexible Shifts Available

Day Shifts & Sleep-In Nights

Temporary & Permanent Opportunities

£12.75 per hour + £50 per sleep-in night

The Role

You will support young people living within our semi-independent accommodation, helping them to feel safe, settled and empowered while developing everyday life skills and independence.

This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same.

You Will:

• Build positive and trusting relationships with young people
• Provide emotional and practical support
• Encourage independence and daily living skills
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Support young people through challenging situations with empathy and patience
• Work both independently and as part of a supportive team

What We're Looking For

We're seeking compassionate people who genuinely want to make a difference.

Ideal Experience & Skills:

Experience working with teenagers or vulnerable young people

Understanding of trauma, loss and emotional wellbeing

Confidence working alone when required

Experience managing challenging behaviours

Good record keeping and communication skills

A calm, tolerant and inclusive approach

Empathy, resilience and compassion
