Recycling Improvement Officer

Salary: £29,542 - £34,811 per annum

Environmental Enhancement are looking to recruit a Recycling Improvement officer to join our busy Barnstaple based team on a permanent contract. You will oversee the collection, storage and reporting of all the waste & recycling stats for the Authority. Reporting to DCC, the Environment Agency and Defra. This would include meeting the recycling material sampling requirements for the Environment Agency.

You will also promote educational and recycling initiatives across the local authority district.

The ideal candidate will have experience or qualifications in the waste industry.

As part of your job you will be expected to:

• Have a keen eye for detail
• Able to perform data input operations regularly for extended periods
• Able to use various internal and external computer systems
• Have experience of working in a transport environment
• Able to communicate well at all levels
