Job summary

As the Industrial Controls Systems (ICS) Lead you will work within the Dstl Digital Group, working alongside Digital, and Security colleagues under the Office of the CISO, as well as the wider business including Project Managers, and Facilities Management Teams.

You be critical in advancing Dstl?s cyber security, cyber safety, and cyber risk management. As Dstl looks to develop this capability area, the role provides an opportunity to define and shape how ICS is managed at the Ministry of Defence?s heart of scientific and technological advances, Dstl.

Job description

As the Lead in this role, you will work with the CISO and colleagues to develop this capability, drive innovation, and ensure the highest ICS standards are established, maintained, and evidenced across the business.

You will lead in establishing a sustainable way of working to raise and maintain ICS standards across the Dstl sites.

Person specification

We are looking for someone who has an understanding of NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF). You will have experience in conducting Cyber risk assessments as well as experience of cyber security issues in Industrial Control Systems.

You will also have an understanding of how ICS works as part of wider protective security to ensure safety.
