About the pub
We are seeking a passionate and driven operator to take the reins of a well-established 11-bedroom inn located in the heart of Nottage Village, Porthcawl.
Positioned adjacent to the picturesque village green, this traditional two-door operation is a true community hub, combining strong local trade with a valuable accommodation offering. The business currently generates average weekly sales of £25,000-£30,000, with a balanced revenue mix of 45% food, 45% wet sales and 10% accommodation, providing multiple income streams and excellent opportunities for growth.
The property boasts a traditional bar area alongside a separate dining space, creating a welcoming environment for both regular locals and visiting guests. Its prime village location, directly overlooking the green, gives the business a prominent position at the heart of the community. Complementing the indoor trading areas is an attractive beer garden with outdoor seating, offering additional capacity and enhancing its appeal during the warmer months. With 11 letting bedrooms, strong food and drink sales, and an established reputation within Nottage and the wider Porthcawl area, the inn presents an excellent opportunity for an operator to build on existing trade and further develop all aspects of the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can embrace the inn's community-focused nature, maximise the accommodation offer, and continue to drive both food and wet sales within this thriving village setting.
If you're ready to take on a characterful village inn with accommodation, food, drink and community appeal at its core, we'd love to hear from you
