Shop Manager – Bransgore

We are looking for an experienced Shop Manager to run our Bransgore Store. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a productive and well-presented shop and demonstrate effective leadership in all aspects of team management.

Qualifications/Experience: Sound retail experience and knowledge (charity experience not essential), excellent people management skills and awareness of Health & Safety compliance are essential. The ability to plan, organise and communicate effectively, apply sound judgement and be able to work under pressure are the key skills requirements of the role.

Duties to include: Lead a team of staff and volunteers to maximise shop sales and profits. Lead and manage the day to day shop operation, by exceeding customer expectations and effective engagement of the staff and volunteer team.

Flexibility, full driving licence and use of a vehicle for business purposes are essential.

Julia’s House is an award-winning children’s hospice charity dedicated to bringing comfort and care to families across the two counties.

Each family we support is unique and so is the care we provide. When a family finds out that their child has a very serious medical condition, which is life-limiting or life-threatening, their world falls apart. Julia’s House exists to help these children and their families.
