Hours: 30 hours per week (across 5 days)
Salary: £23,624.60 per annum (pro rated) (FTE £29,137.00 per annum)

?? About the Role

As a Financial Inclusion Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our customers to improve their financial wellbeing. You’ll provide expert advice on welfare benefits, help tenants maximise their income, and work closely with other agencies to ensure customers receive the support they need.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering tailored welfare benefit and financial inclusion advice.
  • Supporting customers affected by welfare reform.
  • Promoting financial capability and tenancy sustainment.
  • Building strong partnerships with external agencies.
  • Advocating on behalf of vulnerable customers.

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Experienced in providing services to diverse customer groups.
  • Knowledgeable about welfare reform and social issues.
  • Emotionally intelligent, empathetic, and an excellent communicator.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload.
  • Committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Essential qualifications include:

  • GCSEs (grades 4–9 or A–C) in English and Maths.
  • A-levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications.
  • Information, Advice and Guidance qualification or equivalent experience.
