Job Role – Vehicle Polisher
Salary – £15.91 an hour / £37,331.78 per annum
Location – BCA Bridgwater
Working Hours – Monday to Friday 7:00-17:00
Type of Employment – Permanent
Main purpose of the role
Within this role, you will play a key part in the vehicle preparation and paint process, ensuring repaired panels are finished to the highest standard before and after paint application. Working alongside experienced Paint Technicians and Bodyshop professionals, you'll help deliver a quality finish while maintaining efficiency across the workshop.
Your key responsibilities will be:- Flatting and polishing repaired panels and painted surfaces.
- Removing minor paint defects, dust inclusions and imperfections.
- Preparing vehicles and panels to support the paint process.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure work meets bodyshop standards.
- Supporting Paint Technicians and colleagues across the bodyshop when required.
- Sharing knowledge and offering guidance to less experienced team members.
To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Polisher, Bodyshop Polisher or Paint Shop Polisher
- Experience using machine polishers and polishing compounds.
- Knowledge of bodyshop repair and paint processes.
- A Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 2 years.
