SOFTWARE ENGINEER - JAVA / AWS

• Salary - £55k up to £85k DOE

• Hybrid working - Bristol

• Occasional travel to London - approximately once every couple of weeks

• Java & AWS essential SC Clearance required

Due to continued growth and an expanding programme of work, they are looking for experienced Software Engineers with strong Java and AWS experience to join their team.

THE SOFTWARE ENGINEER ROLE

As a Software Engineer, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team developing, enhancing and supporting secure software solutions.

You will be involved across the software development lifecycle, working with modern cloud technologies and contributing to the design, development, testing and deployment of applications.

The role will involve working closely with other software engineers, DevOps/Cloud specialists and stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions for a major government customer.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Strong commercial experience developing applications using Java

• Strong experience working with AWS

• Experience across the software development lifecycle

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices

• Experience working in Agile development environments

• Existing or achievable SC Clearance

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team

• British nationality/citizenship required to meet the security clearance requirements for this role
