Warehouse Section Leader - 06.00am - 18.00pm, 4on4off
We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Section Leader to join our Operations team at our Egg Innovation Centre in Lacock.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately while maintaining high standards of productivity, safety and quality. You’ll lead and coordinate the warehouse team while working closely with Production and Logistics to support an efficient supply chain operation.
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including storage, packing and dispatch.
- Lead and coordinate warehouse colleagues, ensuring daily activities are completed effectively and on time.
- Monitor inventory levels, complete regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Work closely with Production and Logistics teams to coordinate deliveries and minimise delays.
- Support the coaching and development of Team Leaders.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and ways of working.
- Support the implementation of new warehouse systems and technology.
- Resolve warehouse-related issues that could affect customer satisfaction.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with Health & Safety, HACCP and food safety standards.
Requirements
What we’re looking for
You’ll be an experienced warehouse, logistics or dispatch professional with previous leadership experience in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be confident managing people and priorities while maintaining accuracy and high operational standards.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or dispatch leadership role.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and stock control.
- Experience leading and motivating a team.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- A good understanding of Health & Safety requirements, including HACCP and GMP.
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience within food production or FMCG.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- EPT trained/certified.
