This is an amazing opportunity to lead a service which makes such a huge difference to the lives of children with complex needs and their families.
We are looking for a Registered Manager for our Addison Street Short Break Children's Home- a vibrant, activity based service, providing much needed short breaks for children who have disabilities and complex needs.
The registered manager of the home will be responsible for leading and inspiring a dedicated team of Residential Childcare Officers, to achieve positive outcomes for children, will have high expectations of the care provided in the home and will demonstrate a commitment to continual improvement. The registered manager will have excellent knowledge of safeguarding children legislation and Children's Homes Regulations.
The successful candidate
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and caring leader who is committed to providing outstanding care to children in our well-established short break service. The manager of the home will be responsible for leading and inspiring a dedicated team of Residential Childcare Officers, to achieve positive outcomes for the children and will have big aspirations for the service. You will have strong people management skills and proven leadership and management experience.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and an Enhanced DBS disclosure, including Barred List Check, will be required.
