Type: Contract - 2-3 months initially, potential to extend

Hours: Day shift, 38 hours per week with some flexibility

The Opportunity

Actio Recruitment are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Ferndown who require an experienced Panel Wirer to join them on a contract basis. This is an outside IR35 assignment, ideal for a skilled contractor who can hit the ground running in a busy production environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Wiring control panels, cabinets, and associated assemblies to engineering drawings
• Building electrical panels from scratch, including layout, drilling, tapping, and component mounting
• Working from schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials
• Carrying out point-to-point wiring, crimping, looming, and cable routing
• Ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards
• Supporting wider production teams where required

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Assembler, or similar
• Confident reading and interpreting electrical drawings
• Strong practical wiring and assembly skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• A professional contractor who can deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines

• 2-3 months initially, with a strong chance of extension
• Day shift, 38 hours per week
• Some flexibility available around start/finish times
