What you'll do:
- Lead the day-to-day retail operation, ensuring company policies, procedures and operational standards are consistently followed.
- Support, supervise and develop military and civilian team members, promoting a positive, inclusive and collaborative working environment.
- Manage stock ordering, security and control, alongside the safe and accurate handling of cash in line with company procedures.
- Support the development, delivery and promotion of events and attractions to increase customer engagement and use of retail, bar and leisure facilities.
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding to feedback, supporting consumer surveys and ensuring company brands and service standards are consistently represented.
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH and Quality Control, while continuing personal development and acting as Duty Manager when required.
What you bring:
- Good working knowledge of spoken and written English.
- Previous customer service experience in a supervisory role is essential.
- Experience or willingness to develop skills across retail, food service and bar/leisure operations.
- Strong understanding of customer service, health and safety, food hygiene and workplace standards.
- Good leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to support and develop a team.
- Relevant supervisory qualification, such as an NVQ, or a willingness to work towards an equivalent qualification with appropriate support.
