Technician 3

Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 3.Job Overview: Seeking an on-site IT support resource in Bristol to assist with laptop deployments. The role involves configuring devices, updating asset records, and supporting users during setup.

• Location: Bristol
• Contract: 05-May-26 - 28-May-27
• Mandatory check: SC Clearance
• Pay Rates:
• Umbrella Rate: £25.75/hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).
• PAYE Basic Rate: £19.85/hour
• Hours: 37.5 hours a week. Monday - Friday.
• Time: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage and maintain on-site stock, including inventory control and regular audits.
• Perform hardware builds and configuration tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and standards.
• Collaborate closely with the OFS Team Manager on all operational matters.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a technical support or IT engineering role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and stock management processes is desirable.
• Must have SC Clearance
