Prospero Teaching is recruiting STEM Teachers and confident STEM graduates for long-term roles starting September 2026. These exciting opportunities include both subject-specific teaching roles and general classroom cover across secondary schools in the DT1 area and within a 25-mile radius.

Access to your own transport is an advantage.

Roles Available

• Three long-term teaching roles covering cross-curricular STEM subjects, including A-Level classes
• General Cover Supervisor positions, supporting lessons across multiple subjects including Maths, Science, Technology, and English

Who We're Looking For

Qualified Teaching Roles

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in a STEM subject (Maths, Science, Technology, Engineering)

Graduate / Non-Qualified Roles

• Degree or strong academic background in a relevant subject
• Classroom experience preferred (but not essential)
• Confident presence, strong communication, and effective behaviour management skills
