We’re looking for a Vehicle Progressor to join our welcoming and driven team at Vertu Volvo Taunton, playing a key role in ensuring every vehicle on site is presented to the highest possible standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a great eye for detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term career within motor retail.

Salary: £28,571 basic

The Role

As a Vehicle Progressor, you’ll take ownership of the vehicle preparation journey, ensuring all vehicles are retail-ready within 72 hours of arrival and meet Vertu Motors’ group standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out initial cosmetic inspections when vehicles arrive
• Coordinating all aspects of vehicle preparation, including:
  • Wheel refurbishment
  • Paint and trim repairs
  • Valeting
  • Photography for online listings
• Supporting the Sales Manager with accurate vehicle descriptions and comments
• Quality-checking vehicles once preparation is complete
• Organising vehicle movements and logistics between dealerships
• Ensuring vehicles are fully prepared and ready for sale

You’ll be trusted to manage your workload while also working closely with colleagues across departments to keep everything running smoothly.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised, motivated and proactive
• Detail-focused, with pride in doing things properly
• Confident using technology and computer systems
• A strong communicator who works well both independently and as part of a team
• Passionate, energetic and committed to delivering high standards

A full UK driving licence is essential, as occasional vehicle collection and delivery may be required.
