Are you a Bid Manager looking to take ownership of the tender process, with a strong package and real autonomy? Do you have experience writing construction bids and managing tenders through to submission?

This is a permanent, newly created position with a design-and-build contractor, offering you the backing and trust to run tenders end-to-end while being properly rewarded with a car allowance, mileage and strong holiday entitlement.

The business delivers refurbishment and fit-out projects across the UK (with a strong focus on student accommodation) and is now pushing into longer-term framework agreements and new client relationships, giving you a key role in securing consistent work.

You'll be Bristol-based, spending most of your week on site and managing your own diary, leading tender returns, compliance submissions and programmes while coordinating input from the wider commercial and project teams.

This role suits a Bid Manager who is motivated by a strong package, autonomy, and being trusted to own the process in a stable permanent role, rather than needing a guaranteed fast-track into management from day one.

The Role:

• Lead construction tenders from enquiry to submission, producing bid and compliance responses
• Manage your own diary, coordinating information with internal teams to support tender returns
• Work alongside Project Management and Commercial teams

The Person:

• Experience writing and managing construction tenders / bids
• Framework bid experience (e.g. social housing, education, military)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and support business development
