Male Care Assistant – Morning Shifts (Experience Required)

Location: Southampton
Pay: £14.80–£17.15 per hour (including holiday pay)
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

Morning shift pattern

• 7:00am – 1:00pm

• Monday and Thursday

• Alternate weekends required

Right at Home Solent is an Outstanding CQC-rated home care provider supporting older people and vulnerable adults to live safely and independently in their own homes across Southampton.

We are currently looking for a Male Care Assistant to join our friendly team.

Important

Previous experience working as a Care Assistant is essential.
This role is suitable for someone who has worked in domiciliary care, residential care, nursing care, or a similar care setting.

• £14.80–£16.59 per hour on weekdays

• £15.30–£17.15 per hour on weekends

• 35p per mile mileage allowance

• Paid training before you start (£230)

• Minimum 1-hour visits – no rushed calls

• Regular local clients and consistent hours

• Funded NVQ qualifications

• £150 Refer-a-Friend bonus

You will visit clients in their own homes and support them with:

• Personal care

• Medication support

• Preparing meals and drinks

• Companionship and conversation

• Light housekeeping and shopping

• Helping clients remain independent and safe at home

• Male Care Assistant

• Previous care experience

• Kind, reliable, and compassionate nature

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work independently

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
