We're looking for an energetic, hardworking, and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our farmshop & kitchen team.
Our Kitchen Porters play a hugely important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. You'll work closely with our chefs and wider team to maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen, while supporting with preparation, deliveries and the day-to-day operation.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in doing a great job and wants to develop their skills within a busy kitchen environment.

Keeping the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean, tidy and organised throughout service.

Washing dishes, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment efficiently and to a high standard.

Supporting the chefs with basic food preparation when required.

Helping with the preparation and storage of fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce.

Supporting deliveries, including checking, moving and storing ingredients appropriately.

Ensuring stock is stored correctly and helping with stock rotation.

Managing kitchen waste and recycling responsibly.

Keeping bins, floors and kitchen areas clean and maintained throughout the day.

Supporting the kitchen team during busy services and helping wherever you're needed.

Ensuring cleaning schedules and food safety procedures are followed.

Maintaining excellent health & safety and hygiene standards.

Looking after kitchen equipment and reporting any issues promptly.

Working closely with chefs and the wider team to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly.

Taking pride in creating a clean, safe and positive working environment.

Previous kitchen, hospitality or cleaning experience would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
