Our FREE Teaching Assistant with SEND course is a great opportunity to gain recognised qualifications and develop the skills needed to support children in an educational setting.

The course is delivered through a live online virtual classroom, so you can study from home with support from a tutor.

Course Details

• Start date: 15th September 2026

• Duration: 6 weeks

• Days: Monday–Friday

• Time: 11:00am–12:30pm

• Delivery: Live online tutor-led sessions

• Location: Remote / Online

You will need access to a laptop or desktop computer and be able to attend the mandatory live virtual classroom sessions from Tuesday to Friday, 11:00am–12:30pm.

Qualifications

On successful completion, you will gain:

• Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools

• Level 2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)

Eligibility for Government Funding

To be eligible, you must:

• Be 19 or over by 31st August 2026

• Be ordinarily resident in the UK

• Be unemployed or earning £26,800 or less per year
