Working across several parallel product initiatives, you'll help transform regulatory and data complexity into simple, intuitive and engaging user experiences. You'll play a key role in shaping how customers interact with our products, influencing both the design direction and the standards that underpin everything we build.

Your remit will include supporting the continued evolution of our product offering through:

  • Setting up and developing our component library
  • Embedding design best practice across teams
  • Creating consistent experiences and design standards for our developers
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to simplify and improve user journeys

Why Join Now?

This is an exciting time to join Ecosurety as we continue investing in our products, data capabilities and customer experience.

You'll have the opportunity to shape how users interact with our platforms, helping transform complex environmental and regulatory data into intuitive, engaging and accessible experiences. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers and stakeholders across the business, you'll influence products used by some of the world's leading brands as they navigate an increasingly important and fast-moving sustainability landscape.

This is a role where you'll see your ideas move quickly from concept to reality, with genuine ownership, visibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Be Doing...

  • Designing intuitive, user-centred experiences across our web-based products and digital platforms, simplifying the regulatory and data complexity our customers navigate every day.
  • Working with our Product team to plan and deliver user research activities that deepen our understanding of customer needs, behaviours and pain points.
  • Creating wireframes, user journeys, prototypes and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate ideas and solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Testing concepts and solutions with users and incorporating feedback into future iterations.
  • Driving consistency across products through the development and maintenance of design systems, components and standards.
  • Championing accessibility, usability and evidence-based design decisions.
  • Simplifying complex data, workflows and regulatory requirements into clear and intuitive experiences.
  • Contributing to product strategy by bringing user insight and customer-centred thinking into decision-making.

You'll Probably Be Successful If You...

  • Have a naturally curious mindset and enjoy understanding how people think, behave and interact with technology.
  • Can balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Enjoy solving complex problems and turning ambiguity into clear, practical solutions.
  • Are comfortable working collaboratively and influencing decisions across a range of stakeholders.
  • Relish getting close to customer challenges and understanding their realities.
  • Have strong communication skills and can clearly articulate the rationale behind your design decisions.
  • Take ownership of your work and enjoy seeing projects through from discovery to delivery.
  • Value feedback and are committed to continually developing your craft.

We'd Love To See Evidence How You've...

  • Improved a digital product or user experience through research, testing or data-driven insight.
  • Designed journeys and experiences with a strong emphasis on data and usability.
  • Simplified a complex process, workflow or customer challenge.
  • Worked closely with Engineering and Product teams to deliver successful user-centred solutions.
  • Used customer feedback, usability testing or analytics to inform and influence design decisions.
  • Balanced competing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on user outcomes.
  • Contributed to, refined or established design systems, accessibility standards or UX best practices.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience designing SaaS, data-intensive or B2B digital products.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Figma and other modern design and prototyping platforms.
  • Experience planning and conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile product development environments.
