- The ideal candidate will possess a relevant CISRS qualification, experience in industrial scaffolding, and a strong focus on health and safety.
- The position is based at Plymouth Naval Base with competitive pay rates and lodge allowances available for eligible candidates.
SCAFFOLDERS REQUIRED - PLYMOUTH NAVAL BASE
MHR Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Scaffolders for an ongoing opportunity based at Plymouth Naval Base.
We are looking for reliable and experienced Scaffolders across all levels:
PAY RATES
Advanced Scaffolder - £28.00 per hour
Part 2 Scaffolder - £25.00 per hour
Part 1 Scaffolder - £20.00 per hour
Lodge allowance available for eligible candidates.
THE ROLE
You will be working within a busy naval/industrial environment, carrying out the erection, modification and dismantling of scaffolding to provide safe access for a range of trades.
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures safely and efficiently
- Building access scaffolds, working platforms, towers and temporary structures
- Installing scaffold around vessels, buildings, pipework, machinery and other industrial areas
- Modifying and adapting existing scaffolds as required
- Working to site instructions, drawings and relevant scaffold specifications
- Carrying out visual checks and reporting any defects or safety concerns
- Working safely alongside other trades and site personnel
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all site, health & safety and naval base security procedures
Advanced Scaffolders may also be required to lead teams and undertake more complex scaffold structures.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant CISRS Scaffolding qualification - Part 1, Part 2 or Advanced
- Previous industrial/commercial scaffolding experience
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications and certifications must be provided
