Job Requirements/Description
Do you have a passion for women's health and supporting women, their babies and families throughout pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period?

We are looking for candidates who are prepared to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays. No two days are the same in maternity, and we provide a 24 hour, 365 day a year service.

Roles are available across Labour Ward, Maternity Triage, Haven Birthing Centre, Community, and Antenatal Clinic. Applicants can state a preference during interview, but roles will be offered based upon clinical need.

Base Location: Cross-site (Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals and working in the community)

Main duties including providing kind and compassionate care including clinical observations, infant feeding, mental health and wellbeing support, housekeeping duties.

For community duties you would need access to your own transport and will be supporting midwives to care for women and babies in their own homes and/or in designated clinics of which all training will be given.

In the hospital setting you will be a team player, working independently within scope of job and supported by a wonderful maternity team.
