About the Role
As an Aircraft Cleaner, you'll play a vital role in ensuring aircraft are cleaned, stocked, and ready for operation. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help maintain the high standards expected within a secure and professional aviation environment.
Key Duties
- Clean aircraft cabins, galleys, lavatories, and crew areas
- Vacuum, sanitise, and wipe down aircraft interiors
- Remove and dispose of waste safely and correctly
- Replenish onboard supplies and consumables
- Restock cleaning equipment and vehicles
- Carry out exterior aircraft cleaning when required
- Follow all health, safety, security, and PPE procedures
- Work efficiently to meet operational schedules and service standards
What We're Looking For
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and bank holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work to tight deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous aircraft cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Security Clearance Requirements
As this position is based at a military aviation site, successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced vetting process to obtain and maintain site access and an airside pass.
This process includes:
- DBS check
- Aviation security screening
- Full 5-year checkable employment and address history
- Additional security checks required for access to military facilities
Employment is subject to the successful completion of all required security clearances and the granting of the necessary site access permissions.
