We believe in supporting our clinical teams with essential roles that help ensure patients receive timely and effective care in their homes.
As a Bank Driver, your role will play a vital part in the Out of Hours Service by ensuring Clinicians are transported to patient homes safely and efficiently, which will ensure our patients receive prompt care when they need it most. The role will also involve assisting with administrative and reception duties when necessary.
A bank role comes with the flexibility to pick and choose your shifts, however please expect to work evenings and weekends as this service operates Out of Hours. Ideally you will be available to work at short notice covering sickness and cancellations at times, as well being available to work bank holidays at times too.
What you'll be doing
- Driving clinicians safely to and from patient homes.
- Ensuring the vehicles are clean and safe to drive.
- Ensuring any vehicle maintenance issues are reported when required.
- Performing courtesy calls to patients to confirm arrival time and patient data.
- Supporting with administrative and reception duties if needed.
What we’ll look for in you
- Previous driving experience.
- A clean driving record with a valid UK drivers licence.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism.
