General Operative

Location: Avonmouth

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00

Contract: Ongoing, Long-Term Work

We are recruiting General Operatives to join an established automotive company in Avonmouth. This role offers a hands-on position within a busy environment, supporting the preparation and checking of HGV parts before delivery.

The Role:

• Cleaning down the front of HGV vehicles.
• Removing overspray from vehicle chassis, gearboxes, and automotive parts.
• Wrapping and unwrapping parts ready for distribution.
• Inspecting HGV parts to ensure they are damage-free before dispatch.

The Person:

• Full UK Driving Licence (max. 6 points for minor offences).
• Previous experience in an automotive or hands-on role is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and able to work to deadlines.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
