Quakers are a faith group committed to working for equality, peace, and social justice.
Quakerism is almost 400 years old. It's the common name for the Religious Society of Friends. It grew out of Christianity and today we also find meaning and value in other faiths and traditions. We recognise that there's something transcendent and precious in every person. Different Quakers use different words to describe this, but we all believe we can be in contact with it and encounter something beyond our individual selves.

- Quakers in Britain is looking for someone who's friendly and self-motivated with experience of working with children, young people and families, to support Quaker communities in the west of England.
- This role will work with Quakers in the region and the relevant local development workers to grow connections and opportunities for children, young people and families as part of loving, inclusive and all-age communities.
- To deliver this work you will need to be enthusiastic, organised and adaptable, with good communication and planning skills, and knowledge of Quaker beliefs and practices, including Quaker decision making, culture and structures.
