Our support workers are the heart of everything we do. We want you to empower the people we support to live their lives how they want to, whether that’s travelling the world, accessing their local community, or spending time with friends and family. All we ask is that you have the commitment and drive to encourage and guide the people we support to make this happen.
This role is within our deaf services, supporting deaf people and individuals with hearing impairments to live independently, confidently and inclusively within their communities. Communication is at the centre of this role, and you will support people using British Sign Language (BSL), visual communication and person-centred approaches.
This position is all about building positive relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day-to-day routines in line with their personal support plans. This may include support with dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending appointments, employment, volunteering, hobbies and accessing the wider community.

This is a role with a high degree of responsibility which is really varied, sometimes challenging and often fun.
