The Nelson Trust is a leading charity providing residential rehabilitation, recovery support and community services for people with complex needs. Our Women's Community Services empower women to make positive changes and build brighter futures.

We are looking for a friendly, organised and compassionate Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our busy Gloucester Women's Centre. This is a varied role where you'll play a key part in creating a warm and professional environment for clients, visitors and partner agencies, while providing essential administrative support to the wider team.

Salary: £24,500 - £25,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Gloucester Women's Centre, Gloucester

What will you do?

• Welcome clients, visitors and professionals to the Women's Centre, ensuring a professional and supportive first impression
• Manage incoming telephone calls, emails and enquiries, directing them appropriately and taking accurate messages
• Maintain accurate visitor, client and staff records, ensuring confidentiality and data security at all times
• Provide administrative support including data entry, meeting minute-taking and management of correspondence
• Support the day-to-day running of the centre, including health and safety checks, stock management and facilities coordination
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the smooth operation of services and events

What we are looking for

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload effectively
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, email systems and databases
• High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
• A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• GCSE-level education (or equivalent) and a commitment to supporting the values and mission of The Nelson Trust
